How to SMS sextxt


There are 2 simple steps to getting your instant sexual health information via SMS.

For first time users:

Step One

SMS the message “sexinfo” to 19SEXTXT (19739898).

You will then receive an instant reply with the following Menu Options:

  • A1 – for info on STIs
  • A2 – for info on oral sex
  • A3 – if you think you are pregnant
  • A4 – if you have missed a pill
  • A5 – if your condom has broken
  • A6 – for info on emergency contraception
  • A7 – for info on unprotected sex
  • A8 – for info on unprotected anal sex
  • A9 – for info specifically on chlamydia
  • A10 – for info specifically on HIV

Step Two

From the Menu Options list, select the subject you would like information on and SMS the corresponding Menu Option number to 19SEXTXT.

For example:

If you SMS “A1” to 19SEXTXT, you will receive an instant reply containing information on STIs.

We recommend you save the Menu Options list in your phone so that you have them handy next time you need them.

Once you become familiar with the service and Menu Options you can access information by texting the Menu Option directly to 19SEXTXT. For example, for information regarding oral sex skip the first step and text A2 directly to 19SEXTXT.

Trouble Shooting

Should you have difficulty using the service you can text HELP to 19SEXTXT and you will receive the following message:
